Dardanel İşçisi Yalnız Değildir (English Below)

Covid-19 salgını olan fabrikada işçileri ücretli izine çıkartmak yerine “kapalı devre ” adı altındaki,işçileri 14 gün boyunca kendi belirledikleri alanlarda adeta bir toplama kampında tutan Dardanel Gıda’nın İstanbul Tarabya’da bulunan ofisi önünde aralarında Genç İşçi Derneği’nden yoldaşlarımızın da bulunduğu bir eylem gerçekleştirildi. Genç İşçi Derneği için yoldaşımız İlyas Seyrek, bir dayanışma konuşması gerçekleştirdi.

Dardanel Inc. Worker is Not Alone

A protest has been made in front of tuna(ton) fish company Dardanel Inc.’s office in İstanbul Tarabya neighbourhood. Despite giving them paid vacation in the factory which has Covid-19 pandemic, Dardanel Inc. is holding workers in a place where they are restricted to leave under the name of “closed circuit working  system” but actually a concentration camp. Our comrades from Youth Workers Association (GİDER) have attended the protest with their banners “Tons of Exploitation in Dardanel Ton”,”Struggle Wil be Victorious in Dardanel Inc.” written on. On behalf of GİDER,  our comrade İlyas Seyrek has made a speech. İlyas Seyrek’s speech is as follows;

“We are here to expose Dardanel Inc. Here, we,who have to work  by selling their labour, are the ones who die again during the Corona Crisis. And now, we are forced to work in concentration camps. As Youth Workers Association, we are with Dardanel Inc. workers. As working class we wil come togather against bosses with solidarity and struggle. We say boycott and struggle against Dardanel Inc. Long live Workers’ solidarity.”
